Carolyn McConnell, MS, LSP
Founder
ECA Recovery + Wellness

If there is one thing I have learned in my years of practice, it is that the most difficult journeys often happen in the quiet, unseen spaces of our lives. Whether you are navigating the complex grief of infertility, the disorienting path of recovery, or the silence of a disconnected relationship, the terrain can feel lonely—but you do not have to walk it alone.

I founded ECA Recovery + Wellness to provide a space where "hard things" can be spoken safely.

My practice is an inclusive, affirming space for individuals and couples of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Whether we are discussing family building, recovery, or relationship dynamics, your identity is honored here.

My approach is grounded in the belief that even in the midst of pain, we can build a meaningful life. Drawing on my background in Clinical Rehabilitation from Georgia State University and my undergraduate studies at Emory University, I view therapy as a collaborative process. I don’t just sit back and nod; I work actively with you.

Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and a trauma-informed lens, I help individuals and couples identify what truly matters to them. We won't just talk about symptoms; we will work on aligning your daily life with your deepest values. Whether we are using Gottman Method tools to rebuild trust in your marriage or finding resilience during IVF treatments, my goal remains the same: to help you reclaim connection and build a life you choose.
